Job Description:

The Costa Rica Internship Program, operated by University of Dreams, is the premier summer internship Program in Costa Rica for university students looking for internships. University of Dreams has over 1,500 internships available in various industries.

The Costa Rica Internship Program is all-inclusive and has 4 components:

1) Guaranteed Internship Placement:
You will be assigned to a Placement Agent who will place you in a summer internship in Costa Rica in the industry of your choice. Students are placed at outstanding firms in technology as well as in advertising, marketing, hospitality & ecotourism, real estate, non-profit, theatre and many others. Regardless of your major or industry of interest, the Program guarantees all enrolled participants placement and then supports you throughout the summer to make sure that you get the most out of your internship experience.

2) Room & Board:
One of the primary benefits of the University of Dreams Internship Program in Costa Rica is the housing we provide to all of our participants with local Costa Rican families. An important objective for the Costa Rica program is to learn local culture firsthand from local families. The homestays we use are specifically selected for students based on the following criteria: quality of host families, comfort, nearness to major city attractions and to our host university, closeness to mass transit, quality of the surrounding neighborhood, and additional amenities made available by the University Veritas (Wifi, cafeteria, conference rooms, computer labs, etc.).

3) Weekend Activities:
Each weekend the Program takes the entire group on fun weekend activities to some of the most exciting destinations in and around Costa Rica to ensure that you experience the best things to see and do! Weekend activities in the past have included:

• Tour of the city
• 1-2 Overnight Trips
• Theatre Show
• Major Tourist Attraction
• Professional Sporting Event
• Going Away Party/Night on the Town

4) Seminar Series:
Once a week University of Dreams participants are given the rare opportunity to attend seminars to hear the stories and advice of corporate CEOs, best-selling authors, high-powered political figures and famous figures from the entertainment world. The Seminar Series is a uniquely inspiring and educational forum that changes students’ lives by giving them the confidence, strategies and support they need to discover and pursue their career dreams.
