Internships in Hotel Industry after the Olympic Games 2008 in Beijing


The aim of looking for internship students in the upcoming months is promoting the communication of culture between China and West, and also Beijing is in high demand of well-educated hotel staff.
As of now, hotel managers are looking for foreign personnel to prepare and better accommodate their international guests. They are looking for foreign personnel to come work after the Games. In this context, CITS A & D just help candidates to contact with hotels, and then the hotel will choose appreciated candidates by themselves.


Your requirements:
- finished or have begun training or study in the hotel business (completion of the first two years of general education courses)
- good knowledge of spoken and written English language, other languages are desired, basic knowledge of Mandarin is advantageous but is not required
- confident dealing with hotel software systems
- confident dealing with MS Office programs
- keep open-minded perspectives for new experiences
- strong communication skills and sensitivity toward cross-cultural customs and etiquette
- flexibility to work different shifts


Our offer:
- an internship (at least three months) at a 3-star hotel or higher in Beijing
- usually work six days a week, with flexibility for you to decide when to spend your free days
- the salary is between ¥ 0 and ¥4,000.00 RMB per month (about $ 0 to $600.00 USD).
- food and accommodation will be provided by the hotel
