DISTRIBUTION CO-ORDINATOR PIETERMARITZBURG AREA

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced DISTRIBUTION CO-ORDINATOR a large international concern, would suit a person currently residing in the Pietermaritzburg area, KwaZulu-Natal. JOB DESCRIPTION Grade 12. Diploma in Transportation (or similar) an added advantage. Valid Code 08 drivers license / own reliable vehicle. Competent computer literacy (MS Office, Email / Internet). Advanced MS Word / Excel skills. Duties involve overseeing and managing on-time deliveries to customers on a daily basis and will be responsible to facilitate the maintenance and upkeep of a fleet of trucks. Knowledge of vehicle tracking systems. 5yrs previous supervisory experience. 3yrs previous proven experience in bulk tanker deliveries is ESSENTIAL. 3yrs previous production experience (preferably in the milling industry). Strong administration skills. Fleet management experience. Leadership and human resources experience. Ensure that drivers have valid PDE and are renewed when applicable. Ensure that drivers maintain our good image in the marketplace. Responsible to ensure that there is always enough diesel stock. Ensure trip sheets are done and documentation filed. Ensure correct loading of vehicles. Strong customer liaison skills. Person will be willing to work overtime and independently.
