Key Stage 1 Teacher

Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time

Pay: £160-£210 per day

Location: Finchley

Job Type: Part Time, Ongoing

This part-time KS1 teaching role offers a competitive daily rate of £160–£210, depending on experience, and involves working three days per week on an ongoing basis. You will teach a well-behaved class of 28 eager learners, supported by a dedicated teaching assistant, providing an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Application Requirements: To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a track record of effective teaching in KS1.
• Expertise in delivering the UK national curriculum with a creative and engaging approach.
• Strong classroom management skills and an inclusive teaching style.
• The ability to plan, assess, and adapt lessons to cater to a range of learning needs, including SEN.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively with staff, students, and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
• Foster a positive learning environment that nurtures the social and academic development of all pupils.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources and strategies for innovative teaching.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers, maintaining open communication.
