About the role: Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive school in Barnet. This long-term role offers an exciting opportunity to work one-on-one and in small groups with pupils who need additional support in their learning journey.
As an SEN TA, you’ll support children with various needs, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health). You will assist the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons, implementing learning strategies, and providing a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

• Are proactive and adaptable to the varying needs of pupils.
• Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support pupils with SEN across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
• Provide tailored 1:1 and small group interventions to boost academic progress.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to track and report on pupil progress.
