About the Role
As a Design Coordinator, you’ll manage the design phase of multimillion-pound contracts, collaborating with clients, engineers, and production teams to ensure designs are accurate and delivered on time. This is a chance to work on large-scale construction projects, with budgets ranging up to £50 million.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate and manage the design process between clients and engineers.
• Review pre-tender details and advise estimators on program and design requirements.
• Prepare, monitor, and control design schedules to meet production and installation deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with production standards and maintain clear documentation for traceability.
• Attend design meetings and collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We’re seeking someone who is:
• Experienced in precast concrete design or a related field, OR
• A graduate in construction or civil engineering with a keen interest in design coordination.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and skilled at managing multiple tasks.
• Knowledgeable in tools like AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or MS Project (desirable).
• A strong communicator who thrives in team environments.
• Holds a valid driving licence.
