Teaching Assistant
Location: Sprowston, Norwich
Salary: £18,355 - £19,280 per annum (Pro-Rata), including an allowance for holiday pay, £24,408 - £25,183 per annum (FTE)

The Role
The Primary School is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join them as soon as possible. This permanent role will support the professional work of teachers as directed.
Skills and Qualifications
* Have GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and Mathematics, previous experience working with children, preferably primary school age, in a classroom or similar environment and have Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent Teaching Assistant qualification.
* Be committed to the school’s high standards of teaching, learning and professional development.
* Have excellent communication skills, a warm and caring personality, and a good sense of humour.
* Understand the importance of an inclusive environment and high expectations on pupil behaviour.
* Have a welcoming and friendly approach with a high level of professionalism.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of pupils in adherence with the school procedures while in play areas, the dining hall, classrooms or anywhere on the school site.
* Experience in Early Years is desirable.
