Job Description As a Senior Staff Data Analyst & Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building R&D’s data infrastructure and leading the development of secure, scalable, and reliable data products and services. With a focus on driving efficiency and continuous improvement within our R&D data processes, you will contribute to our mission of excellence and innovation. In your new role you will: Build and maintain R&D’s data infrastructure for the optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources Collect business requirements and translate them into technical specifications in order to design, develop, implement and maintain key R&D data use cases Clean and wrangle data from primary and secondary sources into formats that can be efficiently utilized by the team and other data consumers Lead and/or collaborate with a team of students and data professionals in your role as scrum master to develop secure, scalable, high-performance, and reliable data products or services for R&D Support the implementation of R&D’s data strategy , including defining data standards , principles, data sources, storage, pipelines, data flow, and data security policies Your Profile You possess a keen eye for detail and accuracy, with a strong execution focus and the capability to solve problems independently. You thrive in global and intercultural environments, being able to create strong and lasting relationships. You are always willing to learn and apply new tools and methods, staying adaptable in a rapidly changing landscape. Additionally, you excel in communication, boasting excellent written and verbal skills that enable you to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. You are best equipped for this task if you have: A degree in Data Science , Computer Science , Mathematics , Electrical Engineering or similar field of studies 5 years of experience working in business process improvement and data analytics projects , especially in the areas of business analysis, data visualization, and data engineering / architecture Proficiency in data analysis software (SQL, Excel, Python) and data visualization tools (Tableau) Experience or knowledge in data governance, data strategy, and/or AIML techniques to drive efficiency is preferred Experience with tools / platforms such as Denodo, Jenkins, Bitbucket, GitLab, SQL databases, and Stackable Data Platform is highly desirable Experience in working with collaboration tools Jira & Confluence Fluency in English (mandatory) Contact: Rita Costa, LinkedIn WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
