Day-to-day of the role: Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences in health and social care. Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives. Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback. Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures and disciplinary systems. Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by law, district policies, and school regulations. Participate in department and school meetings, parent meetings. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Degree in Health and Social Care or a related subject. Experience in teaching Health and Social Care at secondary school level. Strong knowledge of the current curriculum. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
