Job Title: Field Service Engineer CNC Machines Location: Glasgow, with travel to Aberdeen, Glenrothes, Newcastle, and Ireland Salary: £42K - £47K, plus excellent benefits and perks About the Role: Were seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our clients team, specializing in the maintenance and repair of CNC machines. This is a dynamic role involving travel across Glasgow and surrounding areas, including Aberdeen, Glenrothes, Newcastle, and Ireland, to provide expert servicing and repair of CNC machines while ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Perform scheduled maintenance of CNC machines, adhering to internal servicing standards. Visit customer sites to service and repair machines, maintaining strong customer relationships. Provide technical support and guidance on CNC machines to internal staff. Ensure compliance with health and safety practices. Stay updated on the latest machine models, controls, and technologies, attending training as required. What Were Looking For: Location: Candidates should be based in or near Glasgow and able to travel to Aberdeen, Glenrothes, Newcastle, and Ireland as required. Essential Skills and Qualifications: Engineering HNC and Modern Apprenticeship or equivalent experience. At least 3 years experience in a maintenance-focused role post-apprenticeship. Proficient in mechanical and electrical fitting skills. Knowledge of one or more control systems: Fanuc, Siemens, or Heidenhain. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
