Job Title: Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistants (Blackpool & Preston) Location: Blackpool and Preston, Lancashire Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our supportive and dynamic team in both Blackpool and Preston. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to students with a range of SEN needs, including learning difficulties, autism, and emotional and behavioural challenges. Assist teachers with classroom management and lesson preparation. Support individual and small-group learning activities. Encourage positive behaviour and emotional development. Help implement personalised education and care plans (EHCPs). Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students. About You: Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable. A caring, patient, and resilient nature. Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff. Good communication and teamwork skills. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are advantageous but not essential.
