Uniformed Public Services Lecturer (Part-Time) Location: FE College, West London Hours: Approximately 13 hours per week Contract: Temporary (minimum 3 months) Pay Rate: £30-£35 per hour (dependent on experience) Start Date: After Christmas About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Uniformed Public Services Lecturer to join our team at an FE college in West London. This part-time role involves approximately 13 hours of teaching per week, with the potential to increase hours. The position is initially temporary for a minimum of 3 months. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging curriculum content for students pursuing careers in public services such as police, fire service, military, and emergency medical services. Conduct practical training sessions to prepare students for real-life scenarios. Assess and evaluate students' progress through exams, practical assessments, and assignments. Provide mentorship and career guidance to students. Stay updated with the latest developments in public services to ensure the curriculum remains relevant. Requirements: Relevant qualifications and experience in public services. Proven teaching experience, preferably within an FE college setting. Strong communication and organizational skills.
