Mental Health Teaching Assistant -Enfield Primary School - ASAP start Clarus Education is working with a fantastic Primary School in the North London borough of Enfield to recruit a Mental Health Teaching Assistant (LSA) to work alongside the class teachers in classrooms with students with a range of social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. This role is a full-time, long-term role with an ASAP start, following a successful trial day. With this role, the successful applicant will receive first-class professional training and development opportunities, which will be hugely valuable to you in your career going forward. JOB DESCRIPTION: Mental Health Teaching Assistant Focus on supporting pupils with SEMH, mainly on a 1:1 basis Plan & deliver booster sessions Run social & emotional interventions Full time (Monday-Friday, 8:30-4:00) £95 per day - ASAP 2024 Long-term, full-time contract PERSON SPECIFICATION: 1st Class/ 2:1-degree Graduates ideal Previous SEMH experience is desirable, but not essential Strong passion for SEMH/SEN is required. Must be highly dependable, empathetic and with a professional outlook We are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment.
