Marketing Executive - Dakine

SPORTAX are the newly appointed distributor in the UK and Ireland for the DAKINE brand. About DAKINE . Founded in Hawaii in 1979 and located at the base of Mt. Hood in Hood River, Oregon, DAKINE builds backpacks, travel bags, accessories, apparel and footwear for people who love to surf, snowboard, skateboard, mountain bike, ski, windsurf, and travel. DAKINE Marketing Executive Objective: The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and implementing a comprehensive trade marketing strategy for DAKINE across the UK and Ireland, aligned with overall brand and sales objectives. The ideal candidate will utilise their experience and enthusiasm for the outdoors and the authenticity of the DAKINE brand to elevate the brand's status and appeal in the marketplace. Responsibilities: Develop and execute innovative campaigns to drive customer engagement, brand presence and revenue growth. Collaborating with partners and stakeholders to meet shared objectives and deliver impactful campaigns. Develop and sustain solid relationships with key accounts by implementing a brand retail strategy with our key retail partners. Coordinate & attend trade shows and events. Track, analyse and report on marketing performance to optimise future strategies and efforts. Monitor market trends, consumer insights and competitor activities to adapt and refine strategies. Create & implement social media strategy to increase brand presence online & drive traffic through D2C channel. Experience & Requirements: Minimum 3 years marketing experience with an outdoor brand or retailer. An in depth understanding of the UK&I sports and outdoor retail landscape, particularly snow and surf. Strong project management and organisational abilities, with a track record of leading end-to-end campaigns. Ability to analyse performance data and market insights to inform decisions and optimise marketing efforts. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling campaigns tailored to the target audience. A willingness to step outside of your role when required to support the interest of the wider business. Ability to travel as and when required. Package: Basic up to £40,000 PA Bonus Pension Scheme Dog friendly office Supporting information: The role is a hybrid mix between the office in North Manchester and home, the strong preference is for a candidate based in the Greater Manchester area.
