Day-to-day of the role: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons that comply with the national curriculum. Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback to foster a positive learning environment. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests. Maintain discipline in accordance with the school rules and disciplinary systems. Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events. Stay current on educational publications and share findings with colleagues. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Degree in Science or a related subject. Experience in teaching Science at secondary school level. Strong understanding of the UK curriculum and current teaching methods. Excellent communication and motivational skills. Ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
