Sales and Marketing Manager – Living Walls & Urban Greening Salary £45,000 to £50,000 Commission to OTE £75k Home Based Client Visits, mainly London Permanent Living Walls and Urban Greening is one of the most dynamic and progressive areas of Landscaping and Environmental Construction. They are looking to capitalise on their success and further grow their sales and client base by the appointment of a Sales & Marketing Manager. You will drive sales by introducing the companies’ systems to architects, developers, property owners and FM contractors and be the first point of contact for all enquiries. Staying at the forefront of this sector requires the company to be innovative in all aspects of their business from the creation of cutting-edge planting designs and greening solutions through to their marketing collateral and sales presentations. The Job: The company’s pre-eminent position and record of satisfied clients means that their sales team are often “pushing against an open door” in achieving business and receiving enquiries. The Sales & Marketing Manager supports the enquiry and quotation process, liaising with, and advising clients to the point that potential projects are converted into scheduled works. They effectively manage “the client journey” from enquiry to handover. Beyond the project completion they work to develop strong relationships with existing and new clients. An important part of the brief is to manage a review and the ongoing development of the company’s marketing processes and collateral. The company’s projects create interest and have huge visual impact and they want all of the promotional material that accompanies bids and tenders, social media activity and advertising to reflect this. The Person: The specialist nature of this role means that you will need to have some sales knowledge and experience in selling sub contracted construction works, possibly in façade or cladding systems or horticultural / landscape construction. You will also need to have a knowledge of marketing to the extent that you can manage the work of specialist agencies to create attention grabbing presentations. You are be a confident communicator, have the ability to build successful client relationships and have a good degree of computer literacy.
