We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher in the Swale area, to work with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will be working with children and young people with Profound, Severe, and Complex Learning Difficulties, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners by delivering engaging lessons in a supportive and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with SEMH and additional needs. Foster a safe, nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive relationships and emotional well-being. Adapt teaching strategies to support students with varying academic levels, ensuring all learners are engaged and supported. Collaborate with teaching assistants, pastoral staff, and external professionals to provide holistic support for each child. Use innovative and creative approaches to inspire students and help them achieve their potential.Requirements QTS or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience working with children with SEMH or SEN (preferred). Patience, resilience, and a commitment to helping students overcome barriers to learning. Be a driver with access to your own vehicle.
