GCSE Maths Lecturer Location: West London Job Type: Full-time Hourly Rate: £30-40 We are seeking a dedicated GCSE Maths Lecturer to join our client's educational team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in mathematics and a passion for teaching. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to GCSE students, preparing them for their examinations and future academic pursuits. Day-to-day of the role: Prepare and deliver engaging maths lessons to GCSE students, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and additional support as needed. Develop and adapt teaching materials and methods to meet the diverse needs of students. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and grades. Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of the maths department. Required Skills & Qualifications: A degree in Mathematics or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Proven experience teaching GCSE Maths. Strong understanding of the current curriculum and examination requirements for GCSE Maths. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
