Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant in the Medway area, to provide essential 1-2-1 support for a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and other learning challenges. We work with many schools across Medway and would love to find you your next education-based role About the Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored support on a 1:1 basis for a child who is currently on a reduced timetable. You will also support other children on either a 1:1 or a 1:2 basis during the school day Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the child to support their academic, emotional, and social development. Adapt resources and teaching strategies to meet the child's individual needs. Foster a positive and trusting relationship to encourage confidence and engagement in learning. Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning plans. Monitor progress and provide feedback to the teacher and parents as required.Requirements: Experience working with young children or supporting individuals with additional needs (preferred). Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
