Designer

Designer (12-month FTC) Location: London (Hybrid) My client, a leading London-based law firm, is seeking a Designer to join their marketing and business development team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent. This role is ideal for a generalist designer/artworker with experience in a corporate/professional services firm. The successful candidate will create and edit branded external marketing materials and internal communications across print and digital platforms. Key Responsibilities: Create and edit on-brand marketing materials, primarily using InDesign, such as pitch documents, brochures, and standard marketing editorial content. Develop and edit on-brand digital assets for websites, email marketing, and social media. Source on-brand images and perform image editing/resizing. Edit video (Premiere Pro) and audio (Audition) as needed. Monitor the design inbox, logging, prioritizing, and communicating requests. Quality control and proof materials for final sign-off. Send print-ready artwork to the internal printing team. Work flexibly with the design team across different time periods to support the business. Requirements: Four or more years’ experience in a corporate/professional service environment. Strong sense of layout and typography design principles. Proficiency in Adobe CC software: InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Experience creating and editing slides and charts in PowerPoint. Proficiency with key business applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and Zoom. Desirable Skills: Video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro. Creating and editing social media artwork in Canva. Experience with digital layout applications such as Figma. Website content editing using Umbraco CMS. Salary & Benefits: Competitive salary.
