For more information, visit FederatedHermes.com The key function of this role will be To set the marketing strategy for Southern Europe with a focus on Italy, Spain and Portugal To assist the development of marketing support for US Offshore/LatAm To be responsible for all marketing activity in Southern Europe including translations, websites, campaigns, events, collateral and partnerships. Working in close collaboration with sales and investment, travelling to our local European offices as appropriate It will involve opportunity to add creativity, insight and value to Federated Hermes’ global marketing programme, with a particular focus on setting and delivering the marketing strategy and tactics for these channels. Key task and responsibilities: Channel Management Be primary point of contact for Italy, Spain and Portugal as well as Latin America. Provide sales teams with strategic marketing plans, managing events, campaigns, media plans and budgets for the region. Campaigns Adapt and roll out campaigns in southern Europe to support business growth. Work with our media agency Ptarmigan to maximise ROI, drive innovation to ensure we are at the forefront of technological development. Responsible for translations into local languages as well as maintenance of regional websites. Work with PR team and local PR agencies to ensure all external communication is aligned. Events Manage the events programme for southern Europe, ensuring all events are executed to the highest of standards, attending to manage events in person as necessary. Brand Be a brand ambassador, ensuring that all marketing activity is of the highest quality and follows the brand guidelines. Content Manage the production of content together with both our internal content team and external content partners. Source, translate, edit and publish investment content for both digital channels and printed marketing collateral. Collate and analyse content and media MI (in-house and third party) and prepare reports to key stakeholders. Social media Manage the social media output (LinkedIn organic and paid) for Italy, Spain and Portugal, adapting and translating content to fit local markets, set strategy to grow new followers, increase engagement and engage sales and investment on how to optimise their own social media outreach. Analytics Report and check analytics for Southern European, ensuring KPIs are met and all marketing activity is cost effective. Budget management Manage the paid media and events budget for Italy, Spain Minimum knowledge & experience required Proven experience of delivering marketing strategy in Southern Europe Italian or Spanish native languages skills In-depth knowledge of the full marketing mix with a clear understanding of the evolving and inter-related digital landscape Creative and driven mind set with a willingness to challenge the status quo and promote innovation Experience of working with social media, website design, email distribution tools and other marketing management systems Candidate Profile: Excellent spoken and written English Knowledge of institutional and wholesale asset management in Southern Europe/LatAm Strong understanding and knowledge of asset management and broader capital markets Excellent digital, social media and analytical skills. Excellent writing and editing skills, with proven experience of producing campaign and investment content, including website content, email, briefs, presentations, and marketing collateral. Thorough understanding of the drivers for institutional and wholesale sales and the ability to develop commercially appropriate marketing campaigns and collateral. Able to project a positive image of the marketing team and display resilience, tenacity, and high degree of professionalism.
