If so, at Ribbons & Reeves, we are looking for a supportive and empathetic 1:1 SEMH Support Assistant to work for a year at one of Wandsworth’s BEST secondary schools. 1:1 SEMH Support Assistant role | The Role a 1:1 SEMH Support Assistant could earn up to £106 a day (including holiday pay) | Paid weekly via PAYE. You will be provided with full training to provide adequate support as a 1:1 SEMH Support Assistant before undertaking the role. You’ll be supporting children with SEMH needs with their classwork and implementing skills and strategies developed in the classroom. You will lead your extracurricular or 1:1 sessions with children outside of the classroom to further assist their learning and develop your skills. 1:1 SEMH Support Assistant | The Candidate A Degree in Psychology or a related subject from a Top UK university is a necessity. It would be advantageous for candidates to have some Mental Health experience and experience with Behavioural Difficulties. A 1:1 SEMH Support Assistant must have the ability to support children pastorally and academically. Aspirations to become a Psychologist or Therapist in the future. Excellent interpersonal skills, patience and a calm temperament.
