Senior HR Business Partner – 12 month fixed term contract London/Hybrid (3 days a week in office) £90,000- £100,000 Bonus & Benefits January 2025 start Middlemore have partnered with a prestigious, mid-sized, global financial services firm to appoint a Senior HR Business Partner based in London, initially on a 12 month fixed term contract. The role supports a mixed client group primarily based in the UK with a small, European population. As the business continues to scale and expand its footprint across the globe, this newly created role will support and drive the growth and transformation agenda. A very exciting time to be joining a prominent and established brand As an experienced Senior HR Business Partner you will build strong relationships across the UK with a specific focus on supporting C-level stakeholders across front, middle and back office functions. Relating to HR project exposure, you should expect to get involved in all things culture, and performance improvements. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Work with the HR leadership team to support the delivery of the UK HR strategy. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on HR related matters. Support the Global Head of HR and Talent Development in the tactical execution of strategic HR initiatives across multiple divisions, supporting and facilitating organisational design and transformation programmes as required. Provide coaching and guidance to senior leadership and managers on people management, performance management, employee relations, and compensation. Support managers to identify and address performance gaps and development opportunities within their respective teams. Collaborate with learning and development team to design and deliver technical training programs that enhance specific skills and promote continuous learning in your respective business functions. Ensure all applicable people-focussed laws and regulations are adhered to within the dept. Support Reward/HR with incentive planning, remuneration benchmarking and job gradings globally. Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline HR processes and enhance service delivery. Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes impacting HR and the financial services sector. Lead on complex ER cases when required. Support on Ord Design and Transformation work to structure the business appropriately, which provides a solid platform for global growth (organic, and via M&A). The successful candidate will have an experienced background in financial services. Insurance specific experience would be highly beneficial but not mandatory for this role. The successful Senior HR Business Partner will be able to showcase an array of skills across all areas of HR, including stakeholder management, ER, project work, performance improvement and cultural change. What else will you need: Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice with an understanding of FCA regulatory requirements. Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to build credible relationships across all levels of the organisation. Agile, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. Previous experience working as a People Partner within a fast-paced, high-growth and innovation driven business Experience designing and implementing change management, performance management and leadership coaching to business leaders Adaptable interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation, including senior leadership Numerical and analytical skills experience and working in environment that requires a strong attention to detail If you would like to learn more, then please share an updated cv with Jenna.StocksMiddlemore.co.uk or apply following the link
