THE ROLE 'Ôrəbella is seeking a dynamic and experienced UK Market Director to join our growing team. This role focuses on local PR, influencer engagement, social media activation, supporting relationships with key UK retailers, and partnering as needed with the local UK distributor (Phoenix Beauty). The UK Market Director will spearhead o ur brand’s presence in the UK, playing a pivotal role in the launch and development of 'Ôrəbella into our first geographic expansion. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, passionate about beauty, and has a strong PR and influencer background with a deep understanding of the earned and paid marketing landscape. The UK Market Director position will report to the Global Head of Marketing & Sales who is based in Los Angeles. RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure the 'Ôrəbella brand is properly represented in the UK across all touchpoints, working in close conjunction with the US-based global team to ensure brand consistency and success. PR [SOLELY MANAGED]: Own, develop, and execute local PR strategies to boost brand visibility and awareness without the support of an external PR agency. Craft and distribute compelling local press outreach, pitches, and releases, ensuring the 'Ôrəbella’s story is consistently and frequently communicated. Find new angles to story-tell to maintain an “always-on” press presence. Facilitate all press product sends, creating relevant support collateral as needed. Cultivate relationships with editors, securing 'Ôrəbella placements in key publications on & offline. Host and educate press members (virtually or in-person) as needed. Liaise with Bella’s manager and publicist (Lede) on UK press opportunities and needs. Create and implement strategies to expand 'Ôrəbella’s reach across the UK, leveraging existing relationships while building new ones. BRAND EVENTING [SOLEY MANAGED]: Work in close conjunction with the global team and local agency partner(s) to execute any in-person brand eventing. Help conceptualize themes, provide location/agency/vendor recommendations, and manage timelines. Curate a strategic guest list of attendees that aligns with event objectives and brand ethos (press, influencers, tastemakers). Partner with the Distributor on key retail partner(s) to include or feature. Liaise with Bella’s manager and publicist (Lede) on all Bella event participation. Attend events as the key representative of the brand, engaging with guests to help spread brand awareness, education, and evangelism. Prepare event wrap reports with full recap and success metrics. INFLUENCER RELATIONS [IN CONJUNCTION WITH DISTRIBUTOR]: Source, identify, and engage with top local beauty influencers aligned with 'Ôrəbella’s brand values, without the support of an external influencer agency. Organize and manage influencer mailers to drive product awareness and engagement. Includes list build, local packaging creation and production where needed, address compilation and mailings, results tracking. Distributor to manage the physical mail out. Budgets to be confirmed in conjunction with Distributor. Work with Distributor to plan and manage paid local influencer marketing campaigns, including but not limited to: spend strategy across tiers, influencer list development and related demo/stats analysis, talent background checks, talent/agent outreach, rate negotiation, contract creation and execution, brief creation across various content ideas, product shipments and tracking, timeline management, content review and editing, posting best practices (ie providing UTM links), content curation and cataloging (ie saving on drive and preparing for use on brand channels), and metrics reporting. Budgets to be confirmed in conjunction with Distributor. RETAILER MANAGEMENT [IN CONJUNCTION WITH DISTRIBUTOR]: B uild and maintain strong relationships with all retailer stakeholders. Serve as the primary 'Ôrəbella representative for all local retailer presentations (virtual or in-person). Ensure that all UK market content aligns with Orebella’s brand guidelines, approved visuals, and marketing strategies. Provide proactive support to retailers with the Distributor, ensuring seamless execution of all trade marketing and promotional activities. Help to launch new accounts in the UK, primarily from a press, influencer, and trade marketing perspective. DISTRIBUTOR PARTNERSHIP: Partner with the Global Head of Marketing & Sales to ensure effective execution of key Marketing & Sales initiatives, and alignment with overarching company goals . Serve as the primary 'Ôrəbella representative for Distributor partnership in the UK, providing optimal customer service and brand management. Act as the go-to team member for troubleshooting issues any tactical, operational, and fiscal issues, collaborating closely with the US-based Sales Manager to resolve problems effectively and efficiently. Ensure the Distributor is properly spending and utilizing marketing allocations (testers, sampling, POS, working media, etc). Review Distributor-provided reporting to ensure everything aligns with contractual obligations and yearly sales targets. GENERAL: Maintain UK market animation calendars and 360 decks, working closely with Distributor. Prepare regular reports for Leadership and communicate relevant information to the greater team. Continuously monitor local market and beauty trends, providing insights and feedback to Leadership to help refine influencer marketing strategies. WHAT YOU BRING Bachelor's degree in PR, Marketing, Communications, or related fields preferred 8 years of PR Influencer experience required Beauty experience required Previous start-up/indie experience at a consumer brand preferred Strong relationships with editors and influencers in the UK market Familiarity with paid content rates and influencer contract negotiations A strong network of industry contacts Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines Highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented Excellent communication, negotiation, and pitching skills Passionate about beauty and lifestyle brands Self-motivated, able to work independently Aptness to recognize issues, foresee challenges and troubleshoot accordingly Excellent written and verbal communication skills Stellar analytical skills and attention-to-detail Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite Based in London required Light travel required Must be available for meetings with Los Angeles-based leadership on PST time as needed WHAT WE OFFER Company gratis Remote work environment Creative, collaborative and nimble team Room for ample growth and development
