Account Director – Social-Led Automotive Account Location: London - Hybrid (3:2) Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 DOE About the Role: We’re seeking a dynamic Account Director to spearhead a thriving, social-first automotive account. If you’re a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, exceptional client service expertise and a passion for driving business growth, I'd love to hear from you Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy : Collaborate with strategy and creative teams to guide a growing account, delivering everything from brand positioning and channel strategies to ongoing social campaigns. Production Oversight : Manage a range of productions, from quick-turnaround projects to high-value, creator-led film and photo shoots. Client Partnership : Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with clients, acting as their trusted consultant. Social Media Expertise : Develop and oversee creative work tailored for platforms like Instagram and TikTok, ensuring optimal performance and engagement. Big Picture Thinking : Balance attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality creative work that meets client objectives. Client Management : Navigate collaborations with licensees and brand partners, offering diplomatic and effective relationship management. Operational Excellence : Lead all aspects of project delivery, from financial oversight and resource allocation to briefings and reporting. Financial Management : Partner with the CSD to monitor budgets, assess burn rates and report on P&L performance. Business Growth : Identify and capitalise on opportunities for organic growth, new service offerings, and client expansion. What We’re Looking For: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in account management, with at least 1–2 years in a comparable role within an integrated or social agency. Experience managing accounts valued at approximately £750k. A background in agency environments, ideally working on brand campaigns and integrated 360 accounts. Proven people management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead high-performing teams. Expertise in social media, with in-depth knowledge of platforms, trends, and performance benchmarks. Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams. A track record of successful negotiation and selling of ideas, scopes, and projects. Financial acumen and experience managing budgets for both agency and external stakeholders. Strong organisational skills and a process-driven approach, ensuring efficient and effective project delivery. Willingness to travel for meetings and shoots. Multicultural team experience, with fluency in English (German proficiency is a plus). What Makes You Stand Out: A passion for the lifestyle sector and a strong understanding of its dynamics.
