Job Description

Hyatt Centric Murano Venice is looking for an HR Manager that supports and supervises some functional areas of human resources including but not limited to recruitment and employment, compensation, employee relations, health and safety, wellness and benefit programs, team member services, and special projects. This position will report directly to the General Manager. Essential Functions And Responsibilities Conduct the recruiting, selection, and placement activities, initiating and maintaining relationships with outside sources (e.g., Union, colleges, student associations, employment agencies, recruiters, etc.). Orient new employees to the organization. Plan, implement, and monitor training as necessary and work closely with the HOD to improve employees' skills and knowledge. Responsible for collecting and verifying employees' documents and other tasks relating to the payroll process. Update and create internal communications. Provide project support through the development and execution of key processes, events, and initiatives. Assist in the planning, development, evaluation, implementation, and administration of human resources programs, policies, and procedures, and their dissemination through the Human Resources policy manual, team member handbook, presentations, meetings, and other delivery methods. Manage the administration, communication, and reporting of the hotel's benefits program. Support the reinforcement of Hyatt’s Values. Specific Job Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Knowledgeable of professional HR practices in Italy, Italian Labor Law, and able to understand contracts. Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, with proficiency in Excel, and the ability to learn HRIS system (Zucchetti). Verbal/written skills and presentation skills. Excellent organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills essential. Strong focus on training and reinforcing company culture. Ability to balance multiple projects and prioritize, with problem-solving skills. Experience working in a luxury hotel is mandatory. High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or human resources certification preferred. At least 5 years of experience in the administration of Human Resources programs such as engagement, recruitment, and leave of absence administration. Fluent in Italian and English. Legally allowed to work in Italy, holding a valid work permit for the country.
