Job Description

We are currently seeking a passionate, strategic, and innovative Communication & Engagement Lead h/f , for a permanent position based in Lyon, to carry out innovative and purpose-driven PR & influence communication campaigns for our iconic brands, enhance our corporate reputation and engage all our stakeholders. Your efforts will ensure our business stands out in a competitive landscape, push forward our convictions and help us achieve our ambitious “Food for Biodiversity” mission Role & Responsibilities Lead innovative and purpose-driven communication campaigns for our iconic brands (Bjorg, Bonneterre, Alter Eco) Work closely with marketing to boost visibility, influence, and overall fame of our iconic brands (Bjorg, Bonneterre, Alter Eco). Inspire and lead the development of innovative communication strategies, challenging the norm to push forward-thinking and impactful communication plans. Craft creative PR & Influence communication campaigns that differentiate our brands and drive meaningful change. Develop compelling content that not only deepens audience connections but also amplifies our voice in promoting organic, plant-based, and fair trade food, raising awareness and driving our mission forward. Ensure that all communication initiatives align with brands purpose, strategy and business goals Corporate Communication Define and manage the media & influence strategy (PR, conferences, position papers, etc.) to boost corporate reputation, influence policies, and drive business growth. Leverage and manage our social media profiles and digital presence, building a pipeline of engaging content aimed at increasing audience reach and influence. Produce a variety of communication materials (presentations, pitches, etc.) to amplify corporate messaging across brands and countries Coordinate communications responses to sensitive issues or crisis situations Embody our mission and act as a spokesperson when required Ecotone’s community engagement Define and deliver an agile communication program (internal social media, events, workshops, webcast and innovative tools) to engage all employees on our mission. Coordinate the deployment of internal communication through all MSOs Develop specific innovative campaigns across countries (ex: to engage in GPTW survey…). Competencies Technical competencies Significative experience in in-house or agency brand communications roles Excellent copywriting skills, passion for story telling Marketing/creative communication background / Experience working with prominent brands, including on reputation enhancement and creative campaigns Proven track record of driving communications campaigns, managing projects on-time and on-budget to deliver measurable business outcomes. Operational at ease with digital tools Spokesperson. Leadership competencies Self-driven with ability to be both strategic and stays on top of tactical execution. Should have both attention to detail and capability to work on multiple projects in parallel Creativity and Boldness: Bring fresh, innovative ideas and a fearless approach to communication. Ability to build strong and positive relationships with everyone you work with Moves fast - strong bias for action but maintains exceptionally high standards on the work and the results. Excellent awareness of business environment and ability to react quickly to seize opportunity Successfully manage complex, fast-moving, and unexpected communications challenges and media inquiries related to the FMCG/food business Genuine passion for organic, plant- based, fair trade and sustainable food A fun-loving personality who finds joy in everyday life and brings positivity to the team.
