Position Overview: Private Client Senior Fee Earner / Partner Our client, with offices in London and Brighton, is seeking a Private Client Senior Fee Earner / Partner to join their dynamic team. The role is flexible, allowing for placement in either location. Client Management: Legal Knowledge & Case Oversight Manage an independent caseload effectively. Exhibit confidence in your area of legal expertise and provide guidance to colleagues. Handle high-value cases with professionalism. Demonstrate the ability to manage cases efficiently for both clients and the business, maintaining the capacity to oversee multiple cases concurrently as needed. Manage client expectations adeptly. Deliver exceptional client service and cultivate enduring client relationships. Financial and Business Delivery: Legal Business Management Consistently meet individual and/or team performance targets. Ensure timely monthly billing, adhering to procedures for effective credit control. Demonstrate experience in driving cost savings or process improvements. Propose and implement management initiatives. Comprehend the business management aspects of the practice. Adhere to all policies and procedures comprehensively. Collaboration with Colleagues Function as a highly effective team player. Serve as a role model within the team. Collaborate with others and mentor junior colleagues effectively. Transfer legal knowledge and case management skills to junior team members. Assume managerial responsibilities, including mentoring and training, with the potential to lead a team through effective project management or collaboration. Navigate challenging situations, addressing people-related issues in partnership with HR. Exhibit strong delegation skills. Work respectfully and courteously with support staff at all times. Promote positive behaviors and best practices in recruitment, diversity, inclusion, and flexible working, while demonstrating an understanding of key employment laws. Risk and Control Maintain a thorough understanding of risk issues, risk management/reporting structures, and the SRA regulations. Ensure no substantiated client complaints are present. Business Development Generate departmental income, providing evidence of success over the past two years, including examples of work and referrals. Actively promote the department and serve as an ambassador for the LLP. Contribute to business development initiatives by attending events, writing articles, engaging in social media, and following up on leads. Demonstrate the ability to build a robust network of contacts for yourself, the department, and the firm. Summary As a Senior Fee Earner at the Partner Level, you will play a crucial role in managing complex legal cases and streamlining business processes within the organisation. This position demands a profound understanding of case management and the skills to navigate intricate legal matters effectively. You will collaborate closely with fellow partners and various departments to ensure optimal client outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. Your expertise will not only drive the firm's success but also enhance client relationships and foster a culture of excellence within the team. Qualifications Extensive experience in case management and business processes. Proven ability to lead and manage complex legal cases. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Relevant certifications in legal practice or related fields. Demonstrated expertise in client relationship management and strategic planning. Salary - based upon experience.
