Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner Profession: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Specialty: Respiratory Care Duration: Direct Hire Shift: 12-hour nights Hours per Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Experience: N/A License: Valid Respiratory Care Practitioner license required Certifications: - Must obtain entry level certification - Current Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from NBRC - Basic Life Support (BLS) required - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required within 6 months - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and STABLE preferred Must-Have: - Must graduate from a respiratory therapy program - Must be able to be on call - Must be able to lift 30 pounds Description: Provides care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes. Performs bedside diagnostic procedures as needed. Reviews and maintains respiratory care plans. Performs evaluations on patients and adjusts the care appropriately. Assists as a preceptor for students and new hires.
