Business Development Executive

Position: Business Development Executive Client: Full Service Creative Agency Basis: Permanent - Full time Location: London - on site Salary: Commensurate with experience The Role The Business Development Executive will be driven and proactive and will work directly with the Managing Director and Online Post-Production team. Candidates must be willing to develop (or already possess) in-depth knowledge of video production, post-production and digital media and combine this with entrepreneurial skills on a day-to-basis in order to generate new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be expected to remain abreast of industry trends, technological advances, digital workflows, with the ability to identify new business opportunities and pitch to new customers. They should be a natural sales person, possessing both a flair for management and keen commercial awareness, ensuring that projects of the highest quality are delivered on time and on budget. A demonstrable ability to engender strong client relationships is a prerequisite, together with a drive and passion for production, post-production and digital media. Above all, you will need to have the charm and force of personality to build lasting relationships with new and current clients and manage the team in delivering top-class results. Above all, they will focus on developing strategies to proactively expand the client's current business and be instrumental in attracting new clients and unique business opportunities. Their work includes feature film and advertising, branding and social media campaigns for a wide range of high profile, global clients, in sectors such as broadcast and online TV channels, digital publishing, events, leisure and hospitality. Providing production and post-production services, they also distribute and manage programme rights. Within a framework of corporate social responsibility, their expertise provides their clients with a fully integrated in-house service. Responsibilities: Develop proactive business expansion strategies Pitch to potential clients Create emailers and presentations Act as point of contact for both new and existing clients Ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality, on time and within budget Qualifications: An exceptional educational background - ie. minimum 2:1 Bachelor's Degree from a Russell Group university or Master's Degree from a Russell Group university A deep interest in new media and knowledge of (or willingness to learn) the creative workflow for web, video and print Demonstrable the ability to foster long-lasting client relationships A keen commercial awareness A flair for management A charismatic, outgoing personality Desirable 1-2 years of experience in a similar role Our Client is an equal opportunity employer and is deeply committed to providing a diverse and inclusive working environment.
