Job Description
One of the leaders in our sector of the fashion business, we are now looking to grow our Operations team. With an opportunity to work with some of the most exciting up and coming brands in the business, such as Pendleton, Adsum & Frizmworks, in-house brands such as Dubbleware, US Rubber Company and our multi-brand website The Great Divide, we believe it is an exciting opportunity for candidates who have a passion for clothing but are also driven by results in a competitive, fast-paced environment. Role Overview As an Operations Coordinator , you will support the day-to-day operations of our wholesale and e-commerce business. Working closely with the Operations Manager and other teams, you will help ensure smooth processes across production, logistics, inventory, and customer service. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn the ropes in a fast-paced fashion environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Logistics and Supply Chain Coordination: • Assist in the import/export process, including liaising with freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure timely deliveries. • Track shipments and provide updates to internal teams and customers. • Coordinate warehouse deliveries and ensure accurate stock allocation. 2. Inventory Management: • Maintain accurate stock records in systems like Zedonk or similar ERP platforms. • Support stock reconciliation and resolve discrepancies. • Monitor stock levels and flag any issues with inventory shortages or overages. 3. Order Processing: • Process wholesale and e-commerce orders, ensuring accuracy and timely dispatch. • Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure smooth picking, packing, and shipping operations. 4. Communication and Collaboration: • Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries regarding orders, deliveries, and returns. • Liaise with suppliers and production teams to ensure accurate product information and timelines. • Provide updates to internal stakeholders on operational progress and challenges. 5. Continuous Improvement: • Identify and recommend process improvements to streamline operations. • Support the implementation of new systems or processes to enhance efficiency. Key Skills and Competencies • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or GSuite • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment. • Analytical mindset with a problem-solving attitude. • A team player with a proactive approach to learning and contributing. Desirable Skills/Experience • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Zedonk. • Understanding of import/export regulations and processes. • Previous experience in a fashion, logistics, or retail environment (internships or part-time work welcome). Qualifications • A degree or diploma in supply chain management, business, or a related field is preferred but not essential. • Genuine interest in fashion and operations.
