ABOUT YOUR ROLE Descartes Underwriting is seeking a Corporate communication and marketing assistant (apprenticeship) to join our Marketing Team . You will report to the External Communication Manager and you will be a key contributor to the deployment of Marketing projects. The applicant will be in close and effective cooperation with all business units and play a vital role in the following activities: Assistance in editorial productions for communication and marketing: case studies, product and expertise presentations, corporate formats and presentations, iconographic research, roll-up banners, and brochures for events, etc; Creation of the press review and media coverage monitoring; Management of orders and applications to awards & trophies; Assistance for audiovisual productions and photo shootings; Punctual help with communication plans and cross-functional projects. It's a unique opportunity to take a closer look inside a fast-growing company with huge ambitions ABOUT YOU Please feel free to apply even if you don’t meet every single requirement EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS Final year student of master’s degree from a Business, Engineering school or specialized cursus in Marketing & Digital Communications; One or more previous experiences (internship and/or apprenticeship) in Sales or Marketing is a plus. SKILLS Proficiency in Pack Office and an appetite for digital tools and platforms; Rigor, analytical skills and good writing skills; Excellent communication (written and verbal); Professional or bilingual English is required; French is a plus. MINDSET Eager to learn more about the insurance industry, and about climate, cyber and emerging risks, you are keen to discover and learn new knowledge and skills including technical and digital ones; Your creative writing, communication and analytical skills enables you to make editorial proposals; Excellent team player, you have the ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment and to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
