Public Relations Account Executive

Our firm is looking for Account Executives to join our international team. Account Executives work within a pod of four to five teammates. They report to Senior Account Executives and Account Managers, and are responsible for the day-to-day action items and admin work for client accounts. Candidates should have at least 2-3 years of agency or in-house experience in the communications department. This is an entry level position into our firm where candidates will learn a broad range of foundational skills that will prepare them for continued advancement at our company. The ideal candidate is optimistic, curious and passionate about science, technology and business. They must have unmatched organizational and written/spoken communications skills. The role will require candidates to know the media landscape well, both traditional and new media (newspapers, broadcast TV to blogs, social media and podcasts), and are impeccable at conducting and analyzing news and research. We are specifically looking for candidates who are bilingual primarily English/German, English/Japanese, English/Korean. Daily Responsibilities Read and flag relevant industry news to team and clients Track and share client media coverage with team and clients Keep internal and external press trackers organized Organize and maintain internal CRM and media contacts Organize client call agendas, recaps and minutes Conduct and synthesize research as needed Develop basic comms materials (client one-sheets, briefing documents, FAQs, media target lists) Organize client announcement timelines and open items, ensuring key deadlines are met Assist with building regional media target lists Assist with conference and event speaker submission processes for client accounts Field client requests to appropriate channels and ensuring visibility of requests across the team Qualifications College graduate, preferably with a bachelor’s degree in communications, political science or journalism Minimum of 2-3 years of public relations and communications experience (preferably in an agency or in-house setting working with finance or cryptocurrency companies) Reads and watches the news on a regular basis or is an avid listener of business/tech podcasts Familiarity with the traditional and new media landscape (know the top 10 business and tech media outlets, uses X or TikTok) Technical Skills Writing – news-writing (including Associated Press style format); copy (including newsletters, presentations, proposals, etc.); press material (releases, one-sheets) Computer – Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint Research – Google, X Organization – task management Requirements Completion of assessment evaluation before interview 3-4 references (colleagues, clients, reporters) Compensation and Benefits : Salary : £45,000.00 - £50,000.00 annually (base salary to start) Performance bonuses This position is remote
