Public Relations Senior Account Executive, health

We're looking for a stand-out Senior Account Executive with an interest in working across a mix of biotech and pharmaceutical accounts. Currently the Porter Novelli Healthcare team is supporting a wide arrange of clients, including Roche, Merck, Amgen, Astellas and Immunocore across Product Communications (incorporating patient advocacy & disease awareness), Corporate Health, & Employee Engagement. Therapy areas include oncology, neurology, rare disease and diabetes to name but a few. With great buy-in from current clients, a healthy new business pipeline in place and a dynamic and collaborative team that has grown to match client needs, our future Senior Account Executive will have everything they need to make this role a success, with a great career path in front of them. Here we Grow About You 2-3 years experience within the global healthcare sector and a passion for the industry Knowledge and understanding of healthcare regulatory codes and their application to healthcare communications A commitment to health equity, purpose, diversity, equity, and inclusion. Self-motivated, takes initiative and follows through on commitments A strong project manager, who together with senior guidance, is able to encourage our clients to embrace bold ideas through sound strategic counsel and creative insight. A role model to junior team members, encouraging the highest levels of quality and client service A confident communicator who can consult with both clients and internally. A flavour of the work: We work on everything from creative campaigns for Merck where we worked with a graffiti artist to launch a new “spray” formulation for thyroid disease, to internal awareness campaigns for Amgen that reach over 15,000 employees. We launch podcasts and consensus papers with patient communities, disease awareness campaigns with TikTok influencers and drive communications strategy around every kind of regulatory and product milestone you can think of Our client accounts are diverse - from large Global accounts working with US and affiliate colleagues; to smaller UK accounts where our agile teams are focused on delivering impactful media campaigns and securing those big national headlines What your day to day could look like: Supporting and creating client content including press releases, social media content calendars, supplier briefs etc. Organising team and client meetings including agenda development, draft meeting content and producing contact/status reports Supporting client budget management and activity report development. Supporting a media-sell in to UK, EU and international media outlets Coaching the team to deliver quality work, on-time. Contributing unique ideas and approaches to client challenges.
