About the role: We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Sales UK to join our team, an exciting opportunity created through internal mobility. Reporting to the COO UK & Europe, this role places you at the forefront of shaping the strategic direction and ensuring operational excellence for sales across all UK channels. As the Head of Sales UK, you’ll inspire and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and success. Your ability to build and strengthen commercial relationships with major customers will be instrumental in driving sales, expanding market share, and cementing Australian Vintage as a leader in the competitive UK wine and beverage market. Drawing on your expertise in strategic planning, financial management, negotiation and business development, you’ll chart a course for sustained growth and innovation. In addition to steering sales performance, you’ll play a vital role in championing our company and our brands with external stakeholders as well as representing Australian Vintage at key customer and industry events, ensuring we maintain our reputation for excellence. What You’ll Do: You will be responsible for driving the strategic and operational success of our sales efforts in the UK. Your day-to-day will include: Craft and implement the UK sales strategy, with support from the COO, ensuring alignment with company-wide objectives. Oversee the development and execution of joint business plans (JBPs) with major customers to maximise sales, profit contributions, and market share. Monitor financial performance, including revenue, profit targets, and trade spend, while ensuring a strong return on investment for promotions and activations. Analyse market trends, sales data, and competitor activity to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities. Build and nurture outstanding relationships with senior customer teams and key buyers, fostering long-term partnerships. Inspire and develop the UK sales team, promoting a high-performance culture and alignment with cross-functional teams.
