Maddox Job Title: Content & Social Media Lead. Location: Maddox Street, London. Reports to: Digital Manager (primary line), Marketing Director (secondary line) An exciting opportunity has arisen for an in-house Content & Social Media Lead to join our fast paced, entrepreneurial business. This role requires a dynamic, adaptable and highly creative individual with a passion for art and luxury. The successful candidate will have the ability to translate the vision of Maddox Executives and strategic direction of the business, via best-in-class Content Marketing and Social Media presence. The Content and Social Media Lead will be responsible for devising and implementing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our brand identity and business objectives. This role involves producing a high volume of content in line with Maddox standards, as well as managing social media to drive engagement, enhance brand awareness, and generate leads. Please note, this individual will have a Digital Intern to assist with roles and responsibilities outlined below. Responsibilities/requirements include: Content Production End-to-End Content Creation: Plan, produce, and deliver exceptional content for digital channels, including photography, videography, static and animated assets, and intelligent copy for accompanying materials. Innovation and Quality: Ensure all content is innovative (leveraging tools such as AI where appropriate), engaging, and reflects Maddox’s authority and pioneering position within the art market. Content must maintain the highest quality and adhere to Maddox’s brand guidelines. Campaign Development: Conceptualise and execute compelling visual and video assets for campaigns, exhibitions, and paid social advertisements across platforms. Post-Production: Edit and refine all imagery, video, and animated assets to ensure campaign-ready results. Visual Asset Management: Organise and maintain Maddox’s digital asset library to ensure easy access, consistency, and proper usage. Photography: Capture artwork, gallery spaces, events, and studio shots, producing compelling visuals that tell meaningful stories. Create profile images and promotional photography, maintaining a consistent visual style. Creative Advertising: Develop engaging static, animated, and video assets tailored for digital advertising, ensuring adherence to platform-specific requirements. Social Media Strategic Implementation : Collaborate with the Digital Manager and Marketing Director to design and implement social media strategies, including influencer and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement, to strengthen Maddox’s online presence. Platform-Specific Content : Create, schedule, and post tailored content across Maddox’s social platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok), ensuring alignment with platform best practices. Ensuring all copy written for platforms is considered and informed. Work closely with and guide the Digital Intern to manage this effectively. Community Engagement : Actively manage online communities, respond to interactions, and grow Maddox’s digital following. Build relationships with influencers and KOLs to foster engagement. Profile-Building for Executives : Develop timely and engaging content, including video production, to enhance the social media profiles of Maddox Executives and artists. Platform Hygiene : Maintain account and platform hygiene, ensuring profiles are up-to-date and adhere to brand standards. Crisis Management : Handle community and crisis situations professionally to protect Maddox’s reputation and uphold brand integrity. Integrated Campaigns : Ensure social media campaigns align with offline and online marketing activities, supporting overarching strategies for Maddox’s brand, advisory, and gallery. Skills & Qualifications: 5 years in content production, social media management, or digital marketing, preferably within the luxury or art industries. Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, photography equipment, and social media management/analytics tools. Strong storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail. Create photographic briefs, manage and direct photoshoots, edit and retouch. Expertise in creating and managing photoshoots, retouching images, and producing engaging content for multiple formats and platforms. Ability to align creative output with business goals and KPIs. Strong understanding of social media algorithms, content marketing, and SEO to maximise engagement and performance. Candidate Profile: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to lead projects and engage directly with executives, artists, and stakeholders. Ability to work with high speed, agility and to work with autonomy. Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines. A passion for contemporary art, digital trends, and innovation. Willingness to work outside regular hours when required by the nature of social media.
