School Description - Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Graded 'Outstanding’ in most recent Ofsted inspection All through Primary & Secondary School Vibrant classrooms and learning spaces Excellent indoor and outdoor provision Extensive extra-curricular opportunities to enrich the curriculum High expectations throughout the school Enthusiastic and hardworking children Located in the borough of Newham Excellent public transport links - access to Elizabeth and Central lines, DLR and rail Job Details - Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunities to work in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 Supporting the class teacher with daily tasks Working 1:1 or in small groups with children with SEN Supporting a variety of Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia Long term and full-time role - until at least July 2025 £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience) Located in inner London Borough of Newham Person Specification - Primary SEN Teaching Assistant Strong academics across the board - Degree, A levels & GCSEs Good understanding of SEN is required Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEN, would be ideal Passionate about supporting children with SEN Calm and compassionate nature Ability to demonstrate patience and sensitivity You MUST be able to commit until at least July 2025 If you are interested in this Primary SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity , trial days can be arranged immediately We are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment.
