Setter & Operator

JOB – Setter / Operator LOCATION – Dudley TERM- Permanent SALARY - £25,000-£30,000 dependent on experience My client specialises in the HVAC industry and are looking for a Machine Setter/Operator to join their team in Dudley on a permanent basis. The Setter/Operator will ideally have the following attributes: Previous experience working as a Operator / Machinist / Setter Radan Programming Experience is desired, but not essential Sheet Metal working programming, machinery Knowledge of LVD & Trumpf Turret Punch, and Amada TOGU Grinding machinery and tooling preferred Time Served Apprenticeship in Engineering / Manufacturing Have experience machining and manufacturing precision parts and components Be able to read from engineering drawings Have previous experience working in a similar Machine Shop environment Be able to work well alone as well as part of a team The Setter/Operator role will involve: Working with machinery and producing Sheet Metal Accurate programming, punching, and forming of Sheet Metal components Inspecting components as required Reading from engineering drawings Adhering to company H&S requirements If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
