Position Teaching Assistant (Year 2) Location: Swinton, Manchester (M27) Start Date: 13th January 2025 Contract Duration: Minimum 1 year, with potential for permanent role Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM - 3:15 PM (30-minute lunch break) Pay: £12.83 - £13.83 per hour Join Our Team at Reeson Reeson are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support in a Year 2 class in Swinton, Manchester. Key Responsibilities for the teaching assistant: Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons. Support individual students and small groups with their learning. Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to the teacher. Prepare classroom resources and materials as needed. Foster a love of learning and encourage student participation. Qualifications and Skills required for the teaching assistant: Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting (desirable). A passion for education and helping children achieve their potential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
