This role is full time and long term, remaining in the same school for the entire academic year. JOB DESCRIPTION - SEN Teaching Assistant SEN Teaching Assistant Working with a variety of SEN including: Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia & GDD Working with children in and out of class on a 1:1 and small group basis Full Time & Long Term - until July 2025 £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience) Located in the London Borough of Merton PERSON SPECIFICATION - SEN Teaching Assistant Solid academics - Degree (ideal), A Levels, GCSEs Must have childcare experience SEN experience is desirable - voluntary or paid Must possess an interest in SEN, Child Development or Teaching Must be willing to go above and beyond Basic understanding of SEN essential Compassionate and confident personality SCHOOL INFORMATION - SEN Teaching Assistant 2 Form Entry Primary School Rated 'Good’ in latest Ofsted Continuous training on offer Great facilities and resources for SEN pupils Creative & friendly ethos throughout Located in the London Borough of Merton Good transport links - access by several tube lines and bus routes If you are interested in this SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity, trial days can be arranged for an immediate September start We are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment.
