About the role The Neudata Consulting organization works with both data providers and data consumers to help drive value creation related to utilizing data at organizations globally. This includes projects related to data monetization, valuation of data, identification and evaluation of new data sources, and other data related topics. Neudata consulting powers the data market by bringing new datasets to market, optimizing existing data product offerings, and providing data and analytics insights to the largest financial institutions and corporations globally. The Consulting Analyst role is a junior professional role supporting the consulting team. The role involves liaising with the Neudata Research team, researching data related topics, generating insights, and creating/presenting client deliverables. This role provides ample opportunity for growth. In this position, analysts will refine their analytical research skills and have direct exposure to financial services firms (hedge funds, private equity, management consultancies, and other large data consumers) utilize data and data analytics to operate their businesses. Responsibilities Collaborate with Neudata consultants, sales teams, and research team to perform analysis and to identify actionable insights. Effectively communicate findings to facilitate client action. Contribute to key projects through requirements gathering, market analysis, deliverable production, and presenting findings to clients. Become a subject matter expert on the alternative data market, developing an expansive understanding of the value of data and how data is utilized by different types of organizations. Contribute to and support continuous improvement of the consulting operation, process, frameworks, and tools. Who we are looking for/you should have An undergraduate degree preferably in business, economics, finance, technology/engineering, or political science. Ability to comprehend complex risk/reward situations, analyse complex data challenges, and identify key client pain-points. Creative problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in complex, fast-moving, multi-stakeholder settings. A great communicator with excellent English writing skills, and ability to effectively relay complex information in both verbal and written forms. Strong interest in understanding and enhancing the manner that data is utilized to make investment decisions and operational improvements. Organised and punctual, with excellent work-process and time management skills and the ability to maintain a complex project pipeline and meet deadlines.
