We are currently hiring for a Solution Architect to join our amazing Pre-Sales team at Six Degrees and to be part of our future success. We support our customers on their digital transformation journey regardless of their maturity This role sits within the Six Degrees Pre-Sales team, which is responsible for supporting our sales target attainment for new business and renewals. With a deep understanding of the technical landscape of our clients and build multi-product, technically viable solutions that address business needs, pains or issues. The expectation is that as much time as possible is spent in front of clients, guiding them technically, providing strategic direction, providing roadmaps and working alongside the Sales Team to tease out, qualify and close opportunities. The Pre-Sales Solution Architect role works closely with the Sales Team to build strong technical relationships with the current and prospective client base. It is equally important to build an internal profile with the various technical leads in the business including Product Group and Support technicians. They will act as the technical lead with new multi technology opportunities and tender documentation, tailoring and recommending IT strategies and products to the client base. Creating high level architectural diagrams and owning standard proposals taking input from our Technical Architects whilst assisting with client budgeting. They will act as a technical escalation point for the Pre-Sales Consultants and Sales Teams and act as the ‘go to’ technical contact for named clients. Our perfect candidate will hold appropriate vendor certifications for example from Microsoft, Fortinet, Mimecast etc. They will have proven experience of producing high quality proposals and designs and experience of working with a bid team to delivery high quality RFP/RFI responses. They will be used to consistently deliver client and business success and an expert at designing and delivering technology solutions for a broad range of clients. We also think someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and a prioritisation master is key to succeed in this position.
