Standard shift: Nights Weekly schedule: 3x12 / 4x12 Floating Required: Yes, to ER when no ICU patients in unit. Scrub Color: Navy, White or Navy jacket without Hood. EMR Charting: Cerner, Pyxis for Meds. Job Description: Providing critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications and treatments. The role involves collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Additionally, RNs are responsible for documenting patient progress, assisting with diagnostic tests, and educating patients and their families on care procedures. Compassionate, high-level care is essential in managing the complexity of ICU patients. Experience Required: Minimum have 05 years experience. Education: Required Education: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Minimum Degree Required: Associates Degree required. Preferred Education: Bachelors of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program. Required Certifications & Licensure: Current RN License issued by the Texas State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC). BLS, ACLS required. Preferred Certifications: PALS, TNCC preferred.
