Junior CFD Engineer - Motors (Internship)

We are currently in the process of recruiting a candidate to cover a position of Junior CFD Engineer - Motors (Internship). MISSION: The intern will be placed within the R&D department and will support colleagues in optimizing the design of electric fans. MAIN ACTIVITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES: Perform CFD simulations for the development of new fans in close collaboration with the innovation, CAD, and laboratory teams. Adapt the blade and fan structure design to meet the required aerodynamic and noise targets. Use appropriate software tools and optimization methods to identify the best trade-off in terms of noise, airflow, efficiency, and cost. Identify and mitigate potential issues related to turbulence, secondary flows, separations, and recirculation to minimize noise and enhance efficiency. Develop methods, workflows, and best practices, while validating and refining models. Stay updated on advancements in CFD techniques and fan design, and experiment with new technologies and materials to improve fan performance. J-18808-Ljbffr
