Avionics Supervisor Location: Lincolnshire Shift Work: Monday – Thursday Clearance: SC clearance (required to start) Key Skills: Supervisory experience needed. Typhoon maintenance experience is essential Perfect for those transitioning from the RAF or anyone with relevant experience looking for a new challenge About the Role: Join a world-leading Defence and Aerospace organisation as an Avionics Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out scheduled maintenance, fault finding, and recertification on the avionic systems of the Typhoon aircraft. You’ll support team members' career and personal development while fostering an open and honest working environment. You will ensure all deliverables meet airworthiness standards, prioritise flight safety, and maintain compliance with airworthiness frameworks. Additionally, you’ll oversee maintenance tasks with approved data and proper oversight, ensuring accurate documentation and addressing any issues with relevant business areas. Your proactive and flexible approach will be key to maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence. Requirements for an Avionics Supervisor: Experience with Depth Maintenance documentation, including ESS/IMS and related toolsets. Experience with Depth Maintenance documentation, including ESS/IMS and related toolsets. Understanding of quality procedures, processes, specifications, and compliance with approved Maintenance Organisations (MAOS MIL Pt145). Engineering Apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical Engineering, or a comparable military apprenticeship/qualification. Qualification equivalent to ONC level or comparable military training. Supervisory experience is required. Hands-on maintenance experience on the Typhoon Desirable Experience for an Avionics Supervisor: Familiarity with Resolve and the ability to raise System Enquiries.
