Competitive salary shift allowance benefits 4 on, 4 off night shift schedule (work-life balance) Opportunity to work with PLC-controlled manufacturing platforms Career progression within a high-tech manufacturing environment Responsibilities: Provide process failure and breakdown support, diagnosing root causes and carrying out repairs Work closely with production teams to maintain consistent line performance Conduct preventative maintenance to minimise downtime Monitor and log equipment defects, creating plans to resolve issues Identify and implement process improvements to optimise equipment performance Carry out safety checks and equipment calibration as per schedules Assist in managing spare parts availability Provide training to manufacturing support teams when required Support continuous improvement projects and new equipment installations What you’ll need: Time-served apprenticeship (minimum 2 years post-apprenticeship experience) ONC/HNC (or similar) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (electrical preferred) Strong experience in fault finding, diagnosing root causes, and repair Understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic control systems Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings Working knowledge of PLC systems and associated equipment This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment and play a key role in a leading manufacturing facility.
