Mechanical Engineer Manufacturing 4 on 4 off Overview This is a great opportunity for a mechanical engineer who is looking to move in to a shift with no nights, whilst maintaining an extended period of time off between each shift rotation. A successful manufacturer is looking to recruit a mechanical engineer and is ready to speak to people now. As a mechanical engineer, you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance as well as getting involved in project and improvement work on site. Being manufacturing, this is a fast-paced environment where you will be challenged on a daily basis. The company are open to speaking to people who are mechanically biased and qualified, but they are also open to engineers who are multi-skilled. Responsibilities for the Mechanical Engineer Proactive maintenance and site PMs Reactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns quickly Working across mechanical faults and maintenance Working on Engineering projects (e.g. commissioning, installations, relocations) Identifying and implementing improvements covering both processes machine output Adhering to site Health & safety rules and legislation on site Requirements for the Mechanical Engineer Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject Biased and experienced mechanically Experience working in a maintenance engineer role previously, ideally in a similar industry Ability to and experience of working to a fast pace, ideally confident in a manufacturing environment If you’re interested in this opportunity and your CV is ready then hit the apply button and expect to hear from me soon.
