We supply retailers in several channels across a diverse range of categories including ambient, chilled and frozen foods as well as pet, home and lifestyle and we were thrilled to celebrate our 25 th anniversary in 2024. The successful candidate must live within a 50 miles radius of our Head Office and is expected to work from the office a minimum of two days per week (depending on business needs), with nationwide travel expected as part of the role to support key events. Job Overview We are looking for an exceptional candidate for this newly created role to drive supplier Brand Activation and campaign implementation in line with sales & marketing objectives. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for the delivery of key marketing initiatives alongside the sales and buying teams to develop brand awareness and visibility across our categories, suppliers & products. Also to raise the profile of Cotswold Fayre as THE sustainable wholesaler across the UK. Key Responsibilities · Managing the brand activation plan and seasonal trade calendar to amplify brand visibility through development of classic trade marketing tools to support the sales team including tactics such as trade presentations, sales literature, promotional planning, merchandising, sample boxes, and point of sale. · Translating and implementing the overarching marketing strategy to support the Marketing, Sales & Buying teams with strong promotional planning and trade communications. · Be fully aligned with the Digital Marketing Executive and Social Media & Events Executive to ensure all Cotswold Fayre marketing communications are well-planned and cohesive, to ensure we are portraying our brand, category and supplier stories to inspire our customers. · Be the conduit across all marketing activities to bring together all key touchpoints including advertising, social media, email marketing, events, catalogues and in-store activities to ensure harmonious and successful campaigns. · Management of activation asset creation via our creative team to create a suite of high-quality, impactful templates which are well planned and executed in line with the relevant campaign. · Develop & nurture relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally to develop joint marketing initiatives with key supplier partners to drive growth. · Driving the agenda on our successful events calendar to execute market leading supplier and customer-facing initiatives. · Leading best practice in terms of strategic and tactical solutions to drive customer and channel performance. · Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of all marketing activation initiatives with an analytical approach to report ROI and future recommendations. · Driving the agenda on new projects in association with our retail business, Flourish, to generate case studies in areas such as ROS, planograms and best practice retail initiatives. Essential Experience & Capabilities · A minimum of 3 years’ proven experience of developing and executing successful sales & marketing campaigns within a fast-paced FMCG (ideally food or beverage) environment is essential · Strong understanding of B2B and B2C marketing channels gained within branded or own-label businesses · Excellent project management and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a strong sense of urgency. · Ability to thrive in fast-paced, sales-driven environment · Excellent communication skills; cross-functionally internally and externally with both customers & suppliers along with the ability to write compelling copy · Hands on, can-do attitude – Proactive, able to pick up and run with projects · Highly organised, keen eye for detail , proactive with adhesion to deadlines · Full, clean driving licence Interested?
