Land Manager

Company I'm pleased to be partnering with a well established, residential developer based in the heart of Kent. They have over 150 years of combined industry expertise and have been operating in the local area for over 20 years. Due to the continued success of the current Land team, and future pipeline, they are now looking to add a Strategic Land Buyer to the team. The team are in a unique position where they are open to a variety of individuals who possess different levels of seniority. This means they are able to look at graduate Land Buyers who have minimal experience, to a veteran of the industry who has a solid track record. Job Overview Supporting the Land Director in the identification and acquisition of sites, assisting in project acquisition from identification, due diligence, offer, contract, purchase, planning to pre-start on the sites acquired. Research and provision of information to Land team on potential development opportunities. Maintain and expand the company's contact database, Land Agents, Land Owners etc. Produce professional land packs, ensure accurate bids are placed for land in a timely manner. Undertake community engagements as necessary. What you'll need to succeed - Subject to level applying for Land Management Degree or RPTI Accredited Planning Degree Ability to communicate with a wide range of people, rapport building, developing relationships Excellent project management skills Strong commercial acumen Proven experience in overseeing successful project pre-planning and post planning activities Exceptional negotiating and influencing skills; a confident and professional networker. An innovative thinker, with the drive to seek out and pursue potential development opportunities.
