Social Media Executive

Are you a Social Media Executive looking to join a remote-first business? Our client is a remote-first business however this role will include regular travel to Birmingham for things such as content shoots etc. They are looking for a Social Media Executive to join the team in this consumer brand-focused role. This is a full-time, permanent role with a salary of £28k-£32k DOE. Please note this is a remote role but you will need to be able to travel to Birmingham regularly and so you will be based in the Midlands. Our client is very close to train station links. As a remote business, they don’t have an office space, however, they do get together once a quarter as a business in Birmingham so you will need to be able to commute to the area. The Role As Social Media Executive you will be joining a small social media team and taking real autonomy over your role. This will involve content planning, social media channel management, community development, content creation and lots of creative ideation. You will absolutely love social media, enjoy keeping up with trends and be excited by the idea of joining and helping to elevate and grow a consumer brand in an exciting and growing industry. About You Experience in managing TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn with a real understanding of how the platforms work and what types of content perform well A passion for social and enjoy scrolling, looking at new trends and trying things out You will be creative and able to create content for social whether that is static posts or editing reels and video content (using Canva) You will be creating content plans, scheduling and posting content and working in both a proactive and reactive way Attending events and always looking for opportunities to get some content. You will love this reactive approach to social media and will know how to grow a community with engaging content This is a remote role, but you will occasionally be onsite, shooting content and building relationships Reporting on key metrics, looking at campaign performance and making suggestions for improvements Please note that this is a remote role, but you will travel to Birmingham regularly to shoot content and build relationships, so flexibility is required
